I'm Melissa, a documentary style photographer based in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. I first fell in love with photography 20 years ago while taking photos of my own family, trying to hold on tight to those small, fleeting moments. The instinct to notice those small in between pieces of life is what continues to shape my work today. I'm passionate about telling stories through authentic, heartfelt imagery. With a thoughtful, unobtrusive approach, I strive to create images that feel beautifully real. 

When I'm not behind the camera, I'm usually leaning into the same things that ground my work. I'm happiest during slow Sunday mornings making breakfast with my family. I love getting my hands dirty in the garden, baking sourdough and thrifting old treasures.
